
Alexander Brauns is a lawyer trained in Germany and in the United States. He obtained his JD-equivalent German law degree (Erste Juristische Prüfung) from the Humboldt University of Berlin and an LL.M. in Business Law from the UCLA School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in California (not licensed to provide independent legal advice in the District of Columbia).
Upon his graduation from law school in Germany, Alex worked at leading European law firms, including Noerr and Hengeler Mueller, where he focused on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced as a civil litigator in California, concentrating on consumer protection matters.
Son of a German diplomat, Alex has lived in several countries and spent his formative years in Geneva.
